Overview

SKART (Structural Kinesiology Acupressure Release Technique) is a bespoke qualification that has been designed for those who are looking for an exciting and rewarding new career in healthcare as well as those who are already treating patients and wish to add a new therapeutic and diagnostic tool to their skill set.

On completion of the course you will receive certification through both Back 2 Health Training and the IICT and be eligible to apply for professional insurance to practice.

If you are looking for a new career or looking to boost your income from your existing clinic by offering a new style of proven treatment and pain management, we are able to offer an accredited online training course. Completed from your own home at your own pace the course will train you and equip you with the skills needed to diagnose and treat a wide range of muscular and skeletal conditions.

The course is accredited through the IICT (The International Institute for Complimentary Therapists). The IICT operates throughout the globe offering a comprehensive list of therapies and directory of members. Once the course has been completed and assessed successful students will be able to gain insurance and membership through the IICT and begin their own journey using SKART.

The course is made up of nine separate modules:

Module 1 The Kinesiology system - An amazing tool for testing & feedback skills.

Module 2 The Meridian system - Great to help you understand pain pathways.

Module 3 The Lymphatic system – Learn to unblock, improve flow & flush out toxins.

Module 4 The Structural system – Learn how it works, so that you know how to treat.

Module 5 The Testing methods used for SKART – How to find issues.

Module 6 The Treatment methods for SKART – how to treat the issues.

Module 7 A patient’s treatment plan – About taking a case history.

Module 8 Learning & development in practice - Learning the importance of feedback.

Module 9 The role of a Therapist - What to do to qualify as a practitioner.

Each Module contains a series of Lecture Units. These are in the form of:

At the end of each module there is a multiple-choice quiz that will need to be completed and passed before progressing onto the next module. As well as this each module has a workbook with questions that can be completed after each module or all together at the end of the course. Later in the course there will also be student patient treatments that will need to be recorded and submitted via video.

Once completed you will receive certification through the IICT and be eligible to obtain insurance to practice.

There are no formal requirements to embark on a SKART Therapy Practitioners course, however the below are advised:

- Proficiency in anatomy and physiology

- Strong communication skills to establish rapport with clients

Career path

Upon completion of the course, you will be awarded certification and you can obtain insurance through the IICT (International Institute for Complimentary Therapists) and Back 2 Health Training. It will also allow you to become an IICT member!

Once qualified you will be able to locate and treat a wide variety of conditions on patients.
